Dermatos ® is made from our unique and superior custom formulated silicone not used in any other prosthesis. This formulation enables Dermatos® prosthetic devices to be the strongest and longest lasting silicone prosthetics in existence.

Advances such as these are largely due to the research of Alatheia's network of scientific consultants.

Dermatos® is so resistant to heat that it can actually have direct contact with flames without being damaged.

 

Since the pigmentation of Dermatos® is custom-painted sub-dermally, the skin color is not susceptible to wear like other types of prosthetic devices.  Even flames will not change or damage the skin. 

The translucent outer skin layer also filters UV light from altering the sub-dermal pigmentation. Therefore the color is not only safe from rubbing off, but won’t fade either.
