| What is Dermatos® |
Position Adjust-ability
Passive adjustable armatures can be fitted in finger and prosthetic hands. With an armature, the opposing hand can bend the fingers or finger of the prosthetics into a desired position to maximize mechanical function. |
For individuals desiring active movement of a hand, cable driven or myoelectric (electronic) hands can be made. These prosthetic devices allow for active prehension (grasp) and movement. In cases such as these, Dermatos® can be made into a thin skin to cover the moving parts. |
